Sarah: I long to be crafty
So, Sarah, what do you do while you're supposed to be working? Well, among other things, I surf the interweb looking for ways I wish I could be spending my time. I want to be able to come home every night and craft. Well, maybe not every night. But there's so much cool stuff that other people do! Look at stuff I've found:
wee wonderfuls
Thimble
my paper crane
edge of urge
not Martha
get crafty
Going Domestic
Ok, so some aren't strictly crafts, and some you've seen before. But it was so fun! I want to craft. Right. Now.
In other news, Lisa's been out of town, and I miss her! Who am I supposed to call with questions about html or bring to silly movies, or just hang out with?! I like her. Come home, Lisa!
UPDATE: Oh, and urbanSPY.
Posted by sarah at February 04, 2005 11:37 AMSarah...it's high time we become best friends! I mean...I see you every Sunday night! What do say? Yes? Okay good. So here is what I want for my birthday from you...an Edge of Urge t-shirt. Okay? Thanks so much!
But I'm kidding of course...except about the part where we are friends.
P.S. I like your blog.
I like friends. And shirts. But I believe your name is spelled "Andria". Honestly, you'd think you could spell your own name.
Posted by: Sarah on February 5, 2005 05:59 PMYour wish is my command. And also, you rock!
Posted by: lisa on February 6, 2005 06:26 PMThank goodness I have you for a friend Sarah. I mean seriously...I have NEVER had a friend who was so honest and upfront with me. It's like when you have a piece of food stuck in your teeth and no one says anything because they aren't TRUE friends. But not you Sarah. Wow.
P.S. Did you know that Dave and his secret girlfriend and me and my TBA date and you and your secret "dating buddy" (as Dave referred to him) are going to go eat sushi soon?
Posted by: Andrea (the girl whose ponytail you like to swish) on February 6, 2005 10:06 PMWait secret girlfirend? Am I am secret? Oh the shame...I feel so used :) .Oh believe me Andrea or Andria or Ayndrea (however you spell it) Sarah is a true friend. Just be careful or she might accuse you of being a motel. hehe I love you Sarah..and I'm excited for sushi and to meet you new friend Andrea
Posted by: Jessie on February 8, 2005 10:25 AMSeriously, what's with all the secret dating?
Posted by: lisa on February 8, 2005 11:59 AMSarah, your weblog is the BEST! Two new friends in one day, or week, or whatever. Sweet. So...secret girlfriend Jessie...we finally meet. I have to admit I am suprised. I thought you'd be a bit shorter. HA! Kidding! Its a joke because I can't see you. Get it? Because we are meeting through a weblog...so...I can't see you...
Anyway...we are having a Secret Daters Anonymous meeting (a.k.a. sushi eating get together) this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. ish. Unless you can't go...and then we aren't having one.

Seriously secret dating sucks and I didnt even know that I was doing it. I agree with Lisa on this one...what is up with the secret dating? So I like the last spelling of your name ajndreea, I think you should keep it. Sushi 6 on thurs is good for me...I will inform my secret boyfriend that he is to remain unbusy at that time and I'm sure that sarah will inform hers as well. Oh yes and I'm not as short as everyone claims I am...
Posted by: Jessie on February 8, 2005 04:03 PMjason and i have concluded that you, sarah, are dead to us. why don't you come and visit? or at least talk to us. i think i speak for everyone you left behind when i say, sarah is a true friend until she stops talking to you. (don't worry, we still love you, but just miss you.)
Posted by: stace on February 8, 2005 11:05 PMHELLO! This was an entry about CRAFTINESS! That's craft as in making stuff, not crafty in the secret dating sort of way. You all have problems. Ajndhreeea, I'll check on Thursday. My social life is so easy! Lisa's husband, my boss, and Andrea have all set up play dates for me this week. I don't have to put forth any effort.
Sorry I'm dead to you guys, Staci. Life has been crazy, and I work every day but Sundays. I'll come visit soon, I promise.
One last thing - I doubt Jessie is shorter than Andryia thought, because she'd be a bump on the ground if she was. Oh, I love you, little one.
Hee. Jessie was taller than I expected when I met her too. Hee. Heee hee. Okay, I'm sorry, that's not funny.
Posted by: lisa on February 9, 2005 03:01 PMSorry about all the secret dating talk Sarah. I am sorry from the bottom of my dark, cold, Godless heart. I am going to make up for it right now....
Sarah,
Gee you are crafty! I wish I was even just 1/3 as crafty as you!! Lucky for me I have www.twolooseteeth.com where I can keep up to date on all the latest and coolest crafty stuff. Your tips are amazing! Your links are incredible! Sarah=Crafty. Sarah: Princess of all that is crafty.
Sincerely,
Annedreea
P.S. Umm...so yeah...I'm short. I don't care! I don't care what anyone says! Being the shortest person that I have ever met (besides midgets) is AWESOME. So just shut your mouth Sarah! You think you are better than me because you are practically Martha Stewart with all your craftiness?! Well I've got news for you!...YOU ARE! But not because I'm short! It's because you are crafty.
P.P.S. Sushi night was loads of fun. Lets do it again. You're cute as a button secret girlfriend Jessie. And Armondo (or something)...is lame for not liking blogs. But...I guess he can still come along to Secret Daters Anonymous Meetings. I'm kidding. Armondo is RAD.
That is all.
For now.
